Ryan Stam, B.S.B.A. in Marketing, 2004
Ryan attended The University of Arizona from August 2000 to May 2004 graduating from the Eller College of Management with a bachelor of science in business administration. During his tenure he was actively involved in Army ROTC and was a member of the National Society of Collegiate Scholars. Immediately after graduation Ryan joined Pulte Homes as a sales counselor in the Southern Arizona Division. In September of 2004 he was chosen to become a member of the recruiting team and during the summer of 2005 was selected as the recruiter manager for Pulte Home's Southern Arizona operation. Currently he manages over twenty recruiting team members and oversees the day-to-day functions of Pulte's recruiting department.
In July 2005 Ryan was elected as the Chairman for the Eller College of Management Undergraduate Advisory Board. As chairman, Ryan will ensure that the Undergraduate Advisory Board facilitates a clear line of communication between the Eller College of Management and reputable organizations that have an interest in developing students. The board will enhance students' overall education and better prepare them for the business world.
Eller College Associate of the Year Award
Richard M. Johnson
Richard received his bachelor's degree in accounting at Washington State University. He then received his master's in human relations with an emphasis on public administration at the University of Northern Colorado. Currently, he is a member on the board of directors of the United Way of Southern Arizona, a member of DM-50, and Tucson Sunrise Rotary. He was formerly on the board of directors for Junior Achievement and of the Senate Blue Ribbon Task Force on the Study of Reclaimed Water. Richard has worked as a project manager in the Department of Physics at The University of Arizona, as well as president of Tele-Plus Services, Inc. From 1997 to 2004, Mr. Johnson served as mayor, vice-mayor and council member in Oro Valley, Arizona. Throughout his years, he has accomplished many milestones including negotiating funds to build a new library in Oro Valley, implementing construction of multi-use pathways in Oro Valley, and leading the building of Northwest Medical Center in the city.
