1970 up

George Weisz MPA '73 , '76 MPA is a Deputy Chief of Staff for Arizona Governor Jane Dee Hull. He also serves as the Governor's Policy Advisor on Criminal Justice issues. In addition, he co-owns three minor league baseball teams affiliated with the Arizona Diamondbacks.

Candace McCarthy King MPA '77 is an executive director for DuPage Federation on Human Services Reform in Villa Park, IL. The federation is a nonprofit, planning and advocacy organization with the mission to improve human services systems for vulnerable people. They recently developed a new program for the uninsured working poor and led a reform of the child support collection process.

John D. Caley Jr. '81 is a general auditor for Hibernia National Bank in Sugar Land, TX.

Eric D. Miller '84 is a director at the American Stock Exchange in charge of surveillance of confidential information as well as monitoring daily trading for violations of Exchange Rules and Federal Securities Laws, in New York City.

Frederick Christenson '87 is director of programming, responsible for programming and acquisitions for ESPN Original Entertainment shows and specials. Winner of four Sports Emmy Awards and a Peabody Award, Fred begain as a production assistant on Sports Center in 1987 and NFL GameDayin 1988. After a five-year stint as producer of Los Angeles Raiders football broadcasts, he returned to ESPN as producer of Up Close Primetime, Up Close and Talk 2. In August of 1997, he became senior producer of ESPN's SportsCentury 50 Greatest Athletes series, as well as SportsCenter of the Decades. Prior to his current position, the Tucson native was the director of brand management for ESPN Classic, responsible for for day-to-day programming.

David F. Edstrom '87 is a director for MPI Investment Management in Hinsdale, IL., managing discretionary investment funds for non-profit organizations, public pension funds, high net worth individuals and corporate retirement plans.

Michael Wojcicki MPA '89 is president of Modernization Forum in Livonia, MI, the non-profit trade association for the Manufacturing Extension Partnership (MEP) centers across the U.S. and Puerto Rico. The ModForum provides advocacy and research services to the MEP centers, which are federal-state-private partnerships providing consulting services to small manufacurers in the U.S. After completing his MPA, the techincal skills her learned at SPAP took him to the Kansas Budget Office where he served under two governors. Prior to his present position he was the COO and vice president of research at the Kansas Technology Enterprise Corporation, a quasi-public state agency investing in high-tech opportunities.

Sherry L. Dillard MPA '92 loves her job as the curator/registrar at the historical museum in Kingsford, MI.

Walter F. Petraitis MBA '92 is a self-employed business consultant in Kahului, HI.

Aaron East '94 is the quality assuance practice manager based in Walnut Creek, CA for Aquent's western region. Responsibilities for IT professional services include business development, project delivery, and overall stratgic practice initiatives.

Brett W. McFadden MPA '95 is a senior legislative advocate for the Association of California School Administrators in Sacramento, CA.

Barbara Myers MPA '96 manages academic programs operations, the industrial affiliate program, and the library for the Optical Sciences Center at The University of Arizona.

Tom Hongyang Teng MBA '96 works for CSG Systems, Inc., in Cambridge, MA, where he designs and integrates billing systems for wireless companies.

Matthew D. Lawson '97 is a technical client manager for Avolent, Inc., in San Francisco.

Ling Zou MPA '97 is a senior data manager at the Health Research and Policy Centers at the University of Illinois at Chicago. She manages longitudinal research data and analyzes data for health behavior research projects funded by the National Institute of Drug Abuse.

Theresa (Klosterman) Deibele MPA '98 , '99 JD works as an associate attorney in the Public Finance Group at Ater Wynne LLP law firm, Portland, OR.

Tracine Andrus '99 is an eBusiness Project Manager for Black & Decker in Baltimore.

Matthew Dorband '99 is a commercial real estate broker specializing in office leasing with CB Richard Ellis in San Francisco.

Jason Geitzenauer '99 is president of Akanta Inc., an Internet technology consulting firm in San Diego.

Vicki E. Panhuise MBA '99 is vice president of Honeywell in Glendale, AZ, where she leads the development and manufacturing operations for the business and regional aerospace markets. She is responsible for 1,600 employees and business revenues of $600 million. In addition to her Eller MBA, Panhuise holds an MS and a Ph.D. in nuclear engineering from the University of Missouri-Columbia.

Brian Pittluck '99 works as a systems analyst for Deutsche Banks' Corporate Trust and Agency Services Division in New York City.
