Expanding the 24 Hour Workplace
Eller College research published in The Wall Street Journal
Who: Dr. Amar Gupta, Thomas R. Brown Chair in Management and Technology, professor of Entrepreneurship, Management and Organizations, and Management Information Systems at the Eller College of Management. “I am really excited that this research has gained the attention of the Wall Street Journal. The Journal has over 1.8 million readers globally, so the exposure for the 24 Hour Knowledge Workplace and our research here at Eller College is extraordinary,” says Gupta.
What: On September 15, The Wall Street Journal (WSJ) published Amar Gupta’s article Expanding the 24-Hour Knowledge Factory. The extended article focuses on the research, application, and challenges of the 24-hour knowledge factory model, which builds on the outsourcing phenomenon. In addition to the article, WSJ posted a podcast interview with Dr. Gupta, and is hosting a discussion forum on their website. The forum is available to the public free of charge (no subscription is necessary) and comments are welcomed. This is a chance to interact directly with Dr. Gupta and others on this subject of growing importance.
