Health care leaders offer industry analyses in Eller College Distinguished Speaker Series

What
The Eller College of Management Distinguished Speaker Series presents L. Ben Lytle, health care entrepreneur, and Robert D. Reischauer, president of the Urban Institute. Lytle will present Health Care Business Opportunities Arising from Demographic Shifts and Reischauer will address The Economics and Politics of Health Care: 2008 and Beyond.

Who
L. Ben Lytle has been a health care entrepreneur for over 30 years. As chairman and CEO of AXIA Health Management, LLC, which he and his son Hugh founded in 2004, Lytle oversaw the company’s rise to the nation’s largest provider of wellness services. He has been an advocate for healthy lifestyles and market-based health care reform his entire career. His entrepreneurial leadership and innovative strategies were cited by Tom Peters in his books Liberation Management and What Happy Companies Know and in several periodicals.
Robert D. Reischauer is the president of the Urban Institute, a nonprofit, non-partisan policy research and education organization in Washington D.C. which examines the social, economic, and governance problems facing the nation. He served as the director of the Congressional Budget Office from 1989 – 1995 and as chair of the National Academy of Social Insurance’s project, “Restructuring Medicare for the Long Term,” from 1995 to 2004. Reischauer is currently vice chair of the Medicare Payment Advisory Commission.
