Rob joined Evenflo in July 2006. Prior to that, he enjoyed a successful career with Procter & Gamble, where he held a variety of positions of increasing responsibility over 27 years. His last position was Division President, Clairol, Inc., where he led the integration into P&G after a 2001 acquisition, and was head of the worldwide hair color operation. Rob has also had significant international experience, with a two-year stint in the late 1980s living and working in Venezuela, where he served as marketing director for all products sold in the country. Following his return to the U.S., he created the worldwide strategic direction for the hair care business, including the expansion into hair coloring and the professional salon industry — now one of P&G's largest and fastest growing business units. In all these assignments, Rob spent considerable time with consumers, learning about their deepest and unarticulated needs, as the basis for product and marketing design. Rob earned an MBA in Marketing from Vanderbilt University in 1977, and a BA in political science / economics from Denison University in 1975. He serves on several boards of nonprofit organizations, including the Partnership for a Drug-Free America, the Cincinnati Reds Community Fund, and the Eller College National Board of Advisors. Rob loves tennis and golf, and is a die-hard fan of the Cincinnati Reds and Cincinnati Bengals, the professional teams of his home town. He has been married to his wife Carla for nearly 28 years. They have two adult sons.
