What was the process for getting this internship, job, or summer experience?

I networked by cold emailing different JPM employees and different alumni my sophomore year, went and got coffee with them in NY, applied for a diversity day, had a Hire-Vue, super day, and offered a job March 2022 for Summer 2023.

Get in office at 8am, answer emails until 10am, go to meetings and coffee chats until 5pm, start work for the day and wrap up around 9pm-1am.

What was your favorite part of the experience?

Being able to work on market moving transactions that were super applicable and get to be hands on at such a junior level.

Keeping up with other interns and making sure I wasn't making more mistakes than slotted.

What did you learn?

How to model, improved PPT skills, improved professional skills, learned internal systems, etc.

Scholars prepared me very well and mentored me throughout the summer.
