Syndric Steptoe is originally from Bryan, Texas and a former collegiate football player for the University of Arizona; He played from 2003-2006. He was drafted in the 7th round of the 2007 NFL Draft by the Cleveland Browns and played four seasons for their organization. His professional career was cut short due to injuries and upon my exit from the NFL he purchased his own restaurant franchise. After operating the restaurant for two years, he sold it and went back to school to pursue his masters degree in which he received in 2015. Upon completion of his Masters degree he accepted a position with the UA Athletics department in the Life Skills area, working with student-athletes on career and professional development.

Currently, he’s the Director of Alumni Careers and Professional Development for the University of Arizona Alumni Association. He oversees the day to day operations of the UA Career Lab. He also is Vice President for the non-profit organization called “Life Athletix”, whose mission is to work with youth football players in the Tucson area gain life skills through the game of football. He resides in Tucson, AZ with his Wife and two children.
