Dr. Cao is a scholar on business strategy. He received his Ph.D. from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. He joined the Eller College of Management in 2023. Before that, he served as an Assistant Professor of Strategic Management at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. His research interests include behavioral strategy, organizational learning, entrepreneurship, and innovation. He is particularly interested in how firms, both incumbent ones and new ventures, learn from experience and performance feedback, adapt their behaviors, and gain a competitive advantage.
