Technology Leadership Program

Technology Leadership Program

Creating Tomorrow’s CIOs

Our elite Technology Leadership Program (TLP) affords students the opportunity to receive master’s degrees in both Business Administration (MBA) and MIS (MS) in only two years of study.

TLP prepares students for a career in the fast-paced and exciting field of information technology by providing unique technology and business learning experiences. Classroom-based learning is supplemented with group collaboration, consulting projects, case competitions and professional development.

Real world experience is essential to the learning process. TLP students complete one summer internship, allowing them to gain a breadth of experience and encounter U.S. business culture.

Program Benefits

Integrated curriculum. The TLP plan of study is integrated, allowing students to take MBA and MIS courses simultaneously and apply new concepts across disciplines throughout their time in the program.

Full funding opportunities. Successful candidates will be automatically considered for academic scholarships and other benefits that cover all tuition for TLP.

A larger network. With a plan of study that distributes core courses across the first and second years of the program, TLP students are part of two MBA cohorts and two MS MIS cohorts. They have opportunities to collaborate with more than one group of peers, and finish the program with a large professional network.

Greater engagement. In addition to all of the planned MBA and MS MIS events, participants have access to invitation-only TLP events targeted to those with an interest in technology leadership careers.

STEM designated. International students who graduate from TLP are eligible to work in the U.S. for 36 months, without corporate sponsorship, after graduation.

Admissions

Admission to TLP is highly competitive and offered only to select individuals who meet the highest standards of both the Eller MBA and Eller MIS programs.

While the selection committee will look at all aspects of each candidate in assessing their fit for TLP, some minimum requirements must be met:

  • Cumulative undergraduate GPA: 3.0 or equivalent
  • GMAT score: 650
  • TOEFL score: 100
  • Two years of work experience

Applicants who are not accepted into TLP can still qualify to earn a dual MBA/MIS degree as long as they meet admissions criteria for both programs.

How to Apply
